Regulatory Authority

The Bear Creek Inter-County Drain Drainage District is a special purpose public corporation organized and existing under Chapter 21 of the Michigan Drain Code, Public Act 40 of 1956. The District is governed by a three person Drain board consisting of the Director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture, chairperson; Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Anthony V. Marrocco, secretary; and Oakland County Drain Commissioner John P. McCulloch, member. The Agriculture Director is presently represented on the Drain Board by Michael Gregg, Manager, Resource Conservation and Pollution Prevention Section of the Agriculture Department. The Macomb County Public Works Office manages the day-to-day operations of the District.
